Hello, I live on a farm south of Spencer, with my husband Casey. We have lived there for 25 years. Together we farm a corn & bean rotation crop. We also raise a few cows and have a few chickens running around the yard.

I grew up in Schaller, IA, went to school for secretarial and child development. I started coming to Frist Baptist while dating Casey. It is a wonderful church full of wonderful people. It truly makes you feel like you are at home.

There are a few hobbies I like to do in my spare time, scrapbooking, cooking, love to garden and be outside. Huge animal lover and just love this world that God created.

TYLOR SARCHET | YOUTH PASTOR

I grew up in Spencer and was a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church before God called me through the encouragement and mentoring of our congregation to serve as the full-time Youth Pastor. I am currently working on my degree in Biblical Studies at Louisiana Baptist University.

My identity is in Jesus Christ and my heart’s desire is to draw closer to Him in my understanding and in every way that I live my life. He gave me my love and partner, Kelsey, and has gifted us with 5 beautiful children, Mason, Reagan, Raelyn, Jude, and Aaron! They humble me every day and strive in this life and ministry alongside me.

God has shown me through my life how I can serve Him and this fellowship of believers in stewarding the next generation to love Jesus with all their hearts and boldly go where He leads by the power of His Holy Spirit. I pray we can be a light in our community of Spencer and work with fellow believers and churches to draw more to the body of Christ.
